In our latest orange wine discovery box, we present four exceptional wines from Spain, Italy and Romania, all of which captivate with their unique complexity and characteristic taste.

From Italy comes a particularly wild and complex wine made from 100% Grechetto grapes. Fermentation on the skins and ageing in steel with skins give the wine its distinctive orange hue. On the palate, it convinces with spicy fruit notes of persimmons, orange peel and pomelo, which are complemented by a delicately bitter tone. The long and lively finish is accompanied by fine tannins that give the wine structure and depth.

From Spain we have selected a complex and fine orange wine that serves as a perfect introduction to this type of wine. After a few days of maceration, this wine presents itself fruity and charming, with a lively character. A delicate yeast note with orange peel rounds off the taste picture. Due to the maturation in the amphora, the alcohol content remains wonderfully low, which leads to a fine mouthfeel.

The third wine in our discovery box is another orange wine that impresses with its long maceration time and vinification with minimal sulphur addition, unfined and unfiltered. It offers a tremendously fresh mouthfeel complemented by notes of orange peel, ripe boskop and pear. Aniseed and fennel give this wine a very expressive and unconventional note, making it a delicious and unique taste experience.

Finally, we present a refreshing and wild wine from Romania. Its strong orange colour is clear and radiant. On the nose, it unfolds aromas of rose harissa, orange peel and green apricots. In the mouth it is grippy with notes of oranges, spices and distinct floral notes. Lots of pressure on the palate, juicy and tart at the same time, makes this wine an unforgettable experience.

This discovery box offers a unique opportunity to discover the diversity and complexity of orange wines from different countries and regions. Each wine tells its own story and expresses the special characteristics of its place of origin. Enjoy this exciting journey through the world of orange wines!
