In the vineyard, the organic winegrower dispenses with the application of synthetic fertilizers and sprays. His goal is to create a biological balance in the vineyard. By sowing green manures, with compost and organic material, as well as avoiding excessively high yields, he will receive a healthy, fertile soil in the long term. The organic winegrower tolerates a certain natural loss due to pests and diseases. If necessary, he combats these with spray liquors based on herbs, possibly with the addition of sulfur, lime or copper, attract traps, confusing fragrances, etc .. Low yields and a gentle expansion can be mostly concentrated, varietal and characterful organic wines.
