Portwein Ein sehr schöner, kräftiger Tawny. Tawny bezeichnet eine mehrjährige Fasslagerung vor der Füllung und das heißt schnellere Reife als beim Vintage Port. Fruchtsüße und nussige Aromen ergänzen sich zu einem würzig-süßen Vergnügen.
Portwein Diese "Finest Reserve" wird wie ein "Vintage" behandelt, sprich bereits jung und konzentriert nach wenigen Jahren abgefüllt. Also deutlich fester und süßer als der "Tawny". Dunkel, würzig und voller Tiefe mit schwerer Fruchtigkeit.

Hand picked, fermented spontaneously on the grape skins in stainless steel tank (15 days, with temperature control). After pressing 10 months Hefelager in used barriques without Batonnage. Young, powerful blend of indigenous grape varieties of the Douro Valley, mainly Touriga Nacional and Sousão. Complex scent of forest fruits, flowers and spices. Fresh and berry on the palate, lively, well balanced, with soft tannins. Hand picked, spontaneously fermented in the common granitic basin (Lagares) without temperature control. One half of the wine was in used wooden barrels for 6 months, the other in stainless steel tanks. Unfiltered and unadorned.
