The Château de Brau located opposite the medieval "Cité de Carcassonne" overlooking a lovely part of the Pyrenees. Built in 1877, the small Chateau impresses with its solid construction. The foundation of winemaking is the big cool cellar and parceled vineyards located around the basement. And Gabriel as Wenny Tari Château 1982, took over on 15 hectares of grapes were produced and sold to the local Coopérative. But the two had different goals. Today, the Château de brewing from more than 30 hectares of biologically cultivated vineyards on the Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Grenache, Fer-Servadou, Cinsault, Syrah, Cot, Chardonnay and Roussanne grown. The grapes are picked by hand and the wine cellar verarbeitet.Erst carefully controlled fermentation for a few years, the region is recognized Cabardès Appellation d 'Origine Controllée (AOC), and has therefore given after a long struggle wine legal status, which the wines of quality and respect the regional character deserves.
