Bodegas ALTA ALELLA / Alella

At nearly 5 acres of grapes growing on the Finca exceptional wines. The finca Tara Bodegas Alta Alella is in many ways a curiosity. Be it the geographical position, the concept of Bodega, embodied by Jose Maria Pujol, the avant-garde architecture, or the extravagance of the wines; highlight every aspect justifies itself, our wines from Alta Alella particularly.
Let's start with the location of the DO Alta Alella. The vineyards are grouped on the slopes in the immediate hinterland of the Costa Brava. Here wines grow with sea views. To the Mediterranean, there are only two kilometers straight line. On the terrace of the old stylish villa provides the breeze for refreshment. Here the Cava makes as an aperitif in midsummer fun. A little off is the modern built in steel and aluminum and the avant-garde-style Bodega office and tasting area. On the one hand provocation, on the other hand, the consequence of rational architecture and modern vinification. By know-how and the targeted use of technology is derived a cellar technique that is the nature of the wine fair. Experience and knowledge has Pujol, one of the leading winemakers in Spain, in prestigious establishments such as Appropriated Parxet. Knowing this, he worked as a lecturer at the University of Barcelona, worked as a sought after consultant in the wine and half way in the choice of Robert Mondavi winemaker team.
The wines are an experience in itself. All extravagant and compelling. The common denominator of these wines is the fine subtle but powerful substance, accompanied by playful aromas.
