In the southern part of Italy, the Grillo grape is a white wine variety with great quality potential. The best wines from the Grillo grape come from the western part of Sicily, including the grapes for Lunaria MBETTATA. Fermentation takes place naturally without the use of specially bred yeasts, but exclusively with natural yeasts. This gives the wine an authentic aroma profile with wonderful nuances of citrus fruits, wild flowers and orange blossom. In the mouth, it is well structured with spicy and floral notes and a fine mineral finish.

Bukephalos was the horse of Alexander the Great, the most famous horse of antiquity. Especially is this wine. It is partially made from dried grapes, and the flavors are concentrated as well. The wine lies in the stainless steel tank on the lees for about six months and develops thereby a beautiful depth of aromatization. In the glass pale yellow, in the nose intense notes of white flowers and some lemon, on the palate aromas of mandarins are added, very well balanced with well integrated acidity.
