The white grape Malvasia combines a piece of cultural history. It is one of the oldest cultivated grape varieties and found its way from Asia Minor via Greece already in ancient times to the whole of Europe. Today, it no longer has the same meaning, but luckily there are still a few producers of this exciting grape. It's all about pure aroma: Expressive yet fine fragrance of lychee, quince and honey. Passerina is an indigenous variety of white wine found in the regions of Abruzzo, Marche, Umbria and Lazio. In Orsogna, as is customary, the grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks for about 30 days after pressing. Maturation also takes place in steel tanks until bottling. On the nose, one finds hints of white flowers and ethereal aromas. The palate is dominated by white fruits with an intense and spicy flavour. This is an interesting addition to the Demeter wines from Lunaria.

The wine lies in the stainless steel tank on the lees for about six months and develops thereby a beautiful depth of aromatization. In the glass pale yellow, in the nose intense notes of white flowers and some lemon, on the palate aromas of mandarins are added, very well balanced with well integrated acidity.

Bukephalos was the horse of Alexander the Great, the most famous horse of antiquity. Especially is this wine. It is partially made from dried grapes, and the flavors are concentrated as well. Dark color, fruits dried in the nose and dried fruit, plum, subtle port wine aroma. Soft, warm and spicy, a great companion on cooler days.
