strong & full-bodied
As befits a good Sagrantino, this "beginner" from di
Filippo is packed with sweet fruit, plump cherries, notes of underbrush, a hefty
liquorice and a truckload of tannin. Matured in wooden barrels.
Goes well with game, braised red meat, hard cheeses.
fruity & harmonious
Mild, light red wine with a fine, sweet note of ripe red cherries. For friends of the not so dry wine. Charming. Best enjoyed slightly chilled.
Goes well with a hearty evening meal or with pizza, pasta & co.
