The white grape Malvasia combines a piece of cultural history. It is one of the oldest cultivated grape varieties and found its way from Asia Minor via Greece already in ancient times to the whole of Europe. Today, it no longer has the same meaning, but luckily there are still a few producers of this exciting grape. It's all about pure aroma: Expressive yet fine fragrance of lychee, quince and honey. It literally leaps out of the glass and remains exciting at the second sip..

In the southern part of Italy, the Grillo grape is a white wine variety with great quality potential. The best wines from the Grillo grape come from the western part of Sicily, including the grapes for Lunaria MBETTATA. Fermentation takes place naturally without the use of specially bred yeasts, but exclusively with natural yeasts. This gives the wine an authentic aroma profile with wonderful nuances of citrus fruits, wild flowers and orange blossom. In the mouth, it is well structured with spicy and floral notes and a fine mineral finish.
