Wines of Spain's most famous wine-growing region of La Rioja are known for ihe quality and good aging potential: elegant, complex, spicy, velvety and rather fine and delicate as bulky and heavy are the classic, barrel-developed red Rioja, which the region owes its reputation in the wine world
In Aldeanueva, a small town in the Rioja Alavesa, in the Bodegas y Viñedos Ruiz Jiménez our successful Osoti has - project found a home. The Vita our Osoti testifies real pioneering work. Together with the oenologist Josep Maria Albet and Josep Maria Pujol we had mid-90s, the idea to start with winemakers in Rioja, a project to develop a good and then the first organic Rioja Toggle. At least 40 ha, less than 500 meters above sea level, grow Tempranillo, Garnacha, Graciano and grapes on south-facing slopes with clay-limestone soils of our Osoti wines. Here the summers are warm but not too hot and the winters are cold, what the wine quality is of great benefit. A special highlight of a visit of the winery is certainly a little trip with Francisco in the idyllic corners of the vineyards to make in sick-green vegetation a picnic. The modern bodega in the entire vinification, is certainly one of the best-kept wine cellar of the region and once again reflects the care and attention which is given to the wines here. In addition to the new wine, our top sellers Rioja Osoti and the wonderful mature Rioja Crianza Osoti and Osoti La Era, our partners have first vinified the strong fruity Osoti Rosado this year.

The only discovered about 30 years ago white mutation of the Tempranillo grape gives here a complex, supported by fine acidity wine with a wide range of aromas of pears, hay, salt and various citrus fruits. Very fine, very long and very good.
