Young, powerful blend of indigenous grape varieties of the Douro Valley, mainly Touriga Nacional and Sousão. Complex scent of forest fruits, flowers and spices. Fresh and berry on the palate, lively, well balanced, with soft tannins. Hand picked, spontaneously fermented in the common granitic basin (Lagares) without temperature control. One half of the wine was in used wooden barrels for 6 months, the other in stainless steel tanks. Unfiltered and unadorned.
