Fattoria San Michele a Torri / wine region Toscana

Certainly wanted Paolo Nocentini realize his dream of retirement home in the mountains just south of Florence, when he bought the old Good San Michele a Torri, with its more than 40 hectares. The history of the farm dates back several centuries. Originally, there was virtually a separate village structure within the material. Of which still has its own chapel in the basement with grave chambers testimony in the walls. Even today, the land of San Michele a Torri is too large to manage it and can manage the way. So Signore Nocentini attracting more and more from the haulage industry, his actual profession back. But instead of retiring, he is faced with a new mission in life, which he takes very seriously, and in this context he does not hesitate to open up to new ideas. A large and also not entirely risk-free project it certainly was to convert the entire vineyard to organic farming. Away from the wine ecologically durum wheat is grown for the authentic Italian pasta. There is also a small private boar pen. - Unfortunately, I can not say here would "prosciutto crudo" and "salame" grown, but they are still delicious.
